When selecting our suppliers, we invest a lot of time and care, because their products are the foundation of our business. Short delivery distances, an organic-natural cultivation and thus of course the traceability of the product's origin, are very important to us. Subsequently we present you some of our most important suppliers:
Together with Farmer Hampi from Quinten the sagibeiz has created a unique speciality: Mangalica pig from Quinten. The animals can move free in nature and they eat organic wastes from restaurants and potatoes, which did not reach the food market due to optical reasons. Otherwise they live on what the woods of Quinten offer. They live absolutely stressfree in the paradise of Quinten, with a great view of the Lake Walen and the mountains. This is also reflected in the meat quality.
Bosshart + Grimm
The big family Bosshart + Grimm maintains organic vineyards in Quinten, Walenstadt, Flums and Sargans to the principles of Bio Suisse. Their special passion is to minimise crop protection with new, robust types of grapes and also to nuanced characters of wine. The windy climate at the Lake helps to generate high quality wines.
CasaNova Wein Pur

At 5.30 o`clock in the morning Margrit starts her day in Quinten by milking the goats. Then she goes out on the fields and to her garden. In the evening she is working in her kitchen and makes jam and chutneys, pickled fruits and vegetables or brews liqueurs. In her cellar shop she sells her homemade specialities like honey, peppermint oil, wild garlic mustard, goat sausages and wine. At ours you may also take pleasure on her delicacies like her fig mustard. Moreover, we offer special tours for groups (8-16 people) with an aperitif in Margrit's wonderful garden.
When we were looking out for a local beer supplier in 2002, we came across the Adlerbräu in Schwanden, the last activ brewery in the Glarnerland. The fact that it is lead by the 4th generation of the family Oeschger pleased us as much as the quality of the beer. It is a point of honour that we pour out Adlerbräu. The innovative mind and the flexibility of the company let us even creat other projects together: We now offer fish nuggets in dark Adler Bräu beer batter.
In 2012 the Carlsberg group moved to the nearly located Ziegelbrücke, where it filled large parts of the farmer textile factory Jenny with new life and about 200 new jobs. Their products distinguish themselves by high beer brewing art and excellent design. International atmosphere combined with local character as well as good design suits us, just like many innovative products from Carlsberg. Besides, the Carlsberg beer is also brewed in Switzerland: Therefore Carlsberg is an excellent supplement to Adlerbräu and an interesting choice for our guests.
It is already the third generation of the family Danner that manages the Marchhof, which is located between Flums and Sargans, very close to Murg. As a result of the advanced milk economy and the right equipement for further processing, the Marchhof fulfills the very high quality requirements for gastronomy as well. We are glad to receive our milk, eggs and other milk products of high quality from this local farm and keep the distance of delivery short.
Läderach Ennenda, chocolatier suisse
The well-known family company from the Glarnerland is committed to quality since the foundation by Rudolf Läderach in 1962. The competent confectioner and confiseur simplified the work of his colleges by the invention of the chocolate hollowball. This semifinished product raises the quality of truffes and simplifies their production. Continous advances and innovative products distinguish Läderach from others and we are glad to serve Läderach chocolates e.g. to the coffee.
Felix & Eugen Bärtsch, winery and distillery
The winery Bärtsch was founded in 1932 and is located in Mels, whereanother exciting conversion project of a textile mill is taking place. Today the bussines is managed by Felix & Eugen Bärtsch, the third generation. A lot of experience is required to maintain the vineyard. The windy climate allows a harvest of high quality, which is then processed with a lot of knowledge to quality wines full of strength and harmony.

Flumser Quail Eggs
The passion of René and Ursy Marthy-Linder from Flums are their quails. Just like the chicken, they lay an egg once a day. Qauil eggs are a successfull addition to the kitchen and can be used just the way chicken eggs are used. Hard boiled, peeled or halved they enrich and beautify among other things the spring salad at the sagibeiz. Due to the beautiful pattern they are also a good and eatable element of the table decoration. Quail eggs are not only a eye candy but they also taste exquisitely.
